Search Listings of New England Institute of Art Apartments For Rent Below

The New England Institute of Art was established in 1952 and has over 1400 enrolled students. As part of The Art Institutes group, NEIA offers Bachelor’s and Certificate programs. The school is located in Brookline, Boston, near the intersection between Pearl Street and Washington Street. Brookline is one of Boston’s friendliest neighborhoods with a population spanning all ages from students and young adults to professionals and families. Students looking for freshman apartments usually prefer to live near the New England Institute of Art. This allows them to commute easily from their residence to the school. Brookline’s housing stock consists of family houses, apartment buildings and condominiums. Brookline Village forms the center of most student activities in Brookline with some of the best entertainment, restaurants and shopping. Most area apartments and condos provide student housing and would be suitable for a student at the NEIA.

Brookline shares borders with five neighborhoods: Fenway-Kenmore, Chestnut Hill, Mission Hill, Allston-Brighton and Jamaica Plain. New England Institute of Art apartments can be found in any of these towns but remember that student housing in each neighborhood is different in terms of rent and space. For example, you will find Fenway-Kenmore have much smaller apartments than Chestnut Hill or Mission Hill. On the other hand, Allston-Brighton is much more affordable in contrast to Jamaica Plain which is slightly more expensive.

Brookline is serviced by the MBTA transport systems. A number of bus, tram and subway stations can be found near NEIA and provide transport to the nearby neighborhoods. A two-minute walk from the school will bring you to the Brookline Village Station for the “T” Green Line while Pearl Street is a stop for a fair number of buses that can connect to different parts of the town.
